The quintic team have helped provide the scientific support that WEGA implements in their coaching programme. In particular WEGA utilise Quintic biomechanics software is used in all its coaching situations.

The use of such software and video analysis an effective tool to help you improve your golfing technique. More and more golfers, coaches, scientists are using video feedback as a coaching aid. Video can very quickly help golfers to understand the basic fundamentals of a specific movement. Providing golfers with immediate video feedback of thier last performance enables the coach to reinforce the technical elements of the movement.

By comparing performances of previous movements, or even other golfers, the software enables you to compare video images via the computer screen. Differences between the techniques can be identified (competition vs. training, incorrect vs correct) and this information made available immediately to the golfer.

Practice should be a rewarding experience; a video camera helps you make the most of your time. When you watch yourself perform via the computer screen, the image is there before your eyes, instead of being just in your mind.

Originally developed for the medical community, the SAM BalanceLab helps doctors track the rehabilitation of patients after their illness and injury. The technology works by measuring static and dynamic foot pressure distribution. With 2500 individual sensors, the BalanceLab is able to give extremely precise readings and then display the results in a user-friendly, comprehensive, report.
