The Vector Pro Launch Monitor is primary to this service and is used in conjunction with a PGA Professional who has many years of experience in golf instruction and custom fitting. This launch monitor is one of the most precise instruments in ball launch technology and is recognised for its accuracy. This makes it the ideal tool for checking your swing speed, launch angle and spin rate.

Step 1: Initial interview
Once the player has warmed up an initial interview takes place, this is a very important part of the fitting process. The fitter will identify the golfers current and desired ball flight, as well as his or her preferences regarding head design. Current tendencies, correct equipment specs, likes and dislikes are all discussed during this initial chat.
Step 2: Static Measurements
A few simple measurements are taken early in the fitting process, this helps the fitter to access the suitablity of your present and future equipment. Overall height, wrist to floor and hand dimensions are measured during step two.
Step 3: Dynamic Swing Test
During this stage, the golfer hits balls from the impact board with impact tape on the sole of the club and tape on the clubface, this helps to find the correct lie angle.
Having clubs with the correct lie can ensure that your shot pattern and shot shapes are as consistent as possible.
The Vector Pro is also used to analyse the players launch angle, backspin and sidespin. Your fitting expert will review your club-head speed and ball speed. These conditions have the most impact on your overall distance and efficiency. The key to proper club selection and fitting is to create the proper combination of launch conditions, then select the specs that best suit your swing.
Club length, grip compound and size, shaft type and head design are considered during this stage and monitored for suitability.
Step 4: Set make up
Finally, set make up is discussed, making sure you don't have yardage gaps within your set.
